Anguilla Little Bay & Crocus Bay Little bay Crocus bay À la pointe nord de Crocus Bay, Little Bay est un mouillage de charme. Protégée par son statut de Marine Park, la baie est équipée de corpsmorts et il est formellement interdit d’y mouiller l’ancre, comme d’y passer la nuit. Les falaises ocre tombant à pic dans la mer constituent un site de snorkeling et de découverte remarquable. Si les poissons abondent sous l’eau, les oiseaux marins, et surtout les pélicans, s’adonnent à des parties de pêche impressionnantes. Il est possible d’aller mouiller l’ancre pour la nuit juste à côté, à Crocus Bay, l’un des deux seuls mouillages où il est possible de passer la nuit à Anguilla, l’autre étant Road Bay. Il est préférable de mouiller l’ancre à bonne distance de la plage, dans la mesure où le vent a souvent tendance à tourner. Le grand bâtiment blanc sur la partie nord de la plage abrite le restaurant Da Vida, qui propose une cuisine novatrice et délicieuse, où l’Asie et la Caraïbe se rejoignent. Protected by its status as a Marine Park, the bay is equipped with mooring buoys, and it is prohibited to anchor on the bottom, as it is to spend the night here. There are often entire schools of fish, which make it a good feeding ground for marine birds, and especially pelicans.
