Here are some of our favourite platforms to find a home: Kamernet is a platform that offers rooms, apartments, and houses. Hospi Housing is a platform that offers student accommodation with local hosts. SSH is a large country-wide provider of student accommodation. Not to forget, there are many groups on Facebook with people offering rooms and apartments to rent as well as people searching for a home. Just search for keywords such as Utrecht, student, housing, sublets, rooms, rents, and apartments. This way you will find your way into Facebook groups with daily offers. When searching for a home you will see that there are different types of housing. First of all, there is student accommodation; buildings providing students with studios or rooms in shared apartments. These can be short-term, meaning a stay from one to twelve months, or Furthermore, long-term renting. there are private student houses. These are regular houses or apartments that are not a part of student accommodation. Yet, you will share the house with other student roommates.
